In early January, the Trump administration announced plans to open the Southeast coast to risky offshore drilling for the first time – despite the fact that coastal communities strongly oppose this and our state and local leaders have asked the federal government to keep drilling from our shores.

Now is your chance to weigh in: the Trump administration has pledged to listen to local voices and there is a 60-day window to submit public comments in response to the draft five-year drilling plan. Take action by March 9, 2018. It’s critical to make sure our voices are heard and we keep offshore drilling away from our shores.
